I haven't blogged in a while and I have heard about it. Umm... what's new in my life... Thursday we started pitcher/catcher open gym at school. I am still sore. I thought it was going to be informal, come when you want, leave when you want. I was wrong. I showed up in jeans to find that it was a very structured practice.Coach VR: would you like to change?
Me: Ummm... no?
Brooke (my catcher): you can pitch in jeans?
Me: (I've been pitching in the barn all winter. You can pitch in shorts but you wont be pitching in shorts more than once) Ummm... yes?
Then, coming back, it was like a blizzard. Instead of going 55 mph, we were going 25. In some parts, you had to stop until you could see the road again.
In speech, we are done with our story telling unit. I read The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig. Now we are doing a persuasion speech. This is a picture of a random guy that I drew. My birthday is on Tuesday!!!!!

You're good at drawing! We have our honors orchestra concert tonight. We'll post some pics of us in our new dresses hopefully! :) We're playing Carmen Suite, Lord of the Dance, and Rhosymdere. I like Rhosymedre best. Miss you tons!

We're playing Carmen too!!!! Isn't that cool? I really really miss you all too. I'm glad you like the drawing. When I posted this, it said that it didn't post, so I thought I would have to repost when it was working again. And then I found out that it posted! I was happy.
Which is your favorite part of Carmen? I like the last movement. Do you have to do solo ensamble there? We have it in April this year. Hanna and I are doing a duet and Paula and I are doing a duet also. I am trying to get out of my solo because its really hard. Yay I'm glad it posted!
that blizzard was horrible. the worst part? my absolute FAVORITE tv show (LOST) was on @ 8, and b-ball practice got out at 8, so i usually hurry anyway. well, dad was driving and i know he can drive through some pretty tough stuff, but no. he had to torment me and make me squirm by going 20... it worked! i was eager to get home. sounds like a fun speech. wow i have a LOT to say.

by the way, we were playing that one game where u roll a letter and u have to name different things that start with that letter within the categories? well, villain came up and the letter was 'm', and i couldn't think of anything, so i wrote mitch the midget... does that count? i can be very villanous!
hey! i love LOST too!!! only they cancelled it this week because of the boys basketball final and one of our town's high schools was playing. i was really mad because they rescheduled it for 1:05 in the morning. i still haven't seen it...
We haven't played Carmen enough for me to have a favorite part. Our Solo ensamble is on April 5. The band teacher said I should have an accompanist so I asked my Grandma. It turns out that our whole family is staying at a lodge that day. So I'm going to have to leave the fun and go up to school to play. I think I'll ask my violin teacher to accompany me.
