My school starts at 8. My bus comes at 7:30. I went to gym (Western Civ was full). My gym teacher seems fairly nice. Since we have a big 1st hour (30 students instead of the normal 10-15) he said that if we didn't like the unit we were doing, we could walk instead! Yeah! Next was American Lit. My dad had her. She, too, is really nice. We don't have a seating chart and she says that we wont read any books that she doesn't like (i.e. Moby Dick). Next is Home Room. About 15 minutes of reading. It's there technically for announcements or if someone needs to talk to you. Then I have Computer App. Same teacher as HR. He seems really cool but we had a Junior meeting so he didn't get to talk about the class. Ceramics is next (like pottery). We have 5 other girls in that class (no boys). Or first project is to make a clay reptile. It sounds like a lot of fun. Study Hall has 65 students in it and even more when choir joins us. In the middle of Study Hall, we have lunch. Hot lunch only has 1 option and the potatoes are terrible. I ate by someone who I think was named Amanda. She was nice. Then I went back for 20 more minutes of Study Hall. Then I went to design (art). We are going to draw old cars w/ ink. Chemistry looks horrible and I got homework in it. For my last class I have Algebra 2. It looks really easy. My teacher let us talk for the last 20 minutes because she didn't know when we got done. Count them. I have 9 classes (including HR and Study Hall)
I miss you all and I miss Memorial. I miss lunches and eating them w/ you all. I miss the variety of class options (i.e. German, Orchestra, Ancient & Medieval History). I MISS EAU CLAIRE!!!!!

Its too bad dad is not letting you drive to school. You should find out the lunch schedule and pack a lunch on the days you know you don't like the food.
i wish you were in eau claire too! i miss you. I have science 7th hour again, but chemistry this time. for 3 hour, the only option besides study hall was vet science or commercial art, so now i am in vet sciences. :o it sucks that lunch is nasty. take leftovers if they have a microwave. come visit sometime!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAH I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! classes aren't going to be fun anymore!!! especially german and orchestra...i don't know anyone in my ancient and midieval class!! oh i miss you i miss you i miss you!!!! i'm glad you had a good first day of school!! when is your first vacation that you can come and visit us??????? i can't wait for that. we will have a party and watch newsies over and over again. i miss you lots
Hopefully it will get better. I'm glad it went okay, though. I miss you sooooooooooo much. To infinity and back. Come back for your next vacation and hang out with us! We just watched The Bourne Identity. It wasn't as good as the book by a long shot, but it was still pretty good. Have you seen it?
I miss you too, it sucks that you had to move. :( At least it wasn't too bad of a first day. I mean you could have triped in the lunch room, launching your tray into the air and splattering the principal. I'm sure things will get better, and remember, you can always do homework in the classes that are extremely boring. Oh and I agree with everything Paula and Elisabeth said too (ie vaction=visit=newsies).
Actually, the princible (Mr. Mac) is really nice. I miss you'll 2 and I wish I could have classes w/ you. I come back as soon as I can.
